Do I need to choose a plan now?
No. The introductory offer gives you every available Sawia feature for free. You don't need payment details. We'll give you at least 30 days' notice before plan limits begin, and we won't charge you unless you choose a paid plan.
What does Free include?
Free includes Sawia's personal planning tools, with smaller limits on accounts, assets, debts, goals, forecasts, recurring items and statement imports. Sharing a workspace with other people is part of Household.
What counts towards Free's eight places?
Each active account counts once, including an investment account and the positions held inside it. A standalone asset or debt counts once. A linked investment position or goal does not use another of the eight places.
What happens if my workspace is over Free's limits when subscriptions open?
We'll keep your existing information. You can view, edit and export it. We won't archive or delete anything for you. If you're over a limit, you can make room by archiving an item or choose a paid plan before adding more of that kind.
Which statement imports count towards the monthly allowance?
A completed bank, M-Pesa or credit card statement import uses one of your two monthly imports. Failed or cancelled imports don't count.
How does annual billing work?
Annual billing costs the same as 10 monthly payments. That's KES 4,000 for Personal or KES 7,000 for Household.
Can a household keep some workspaces separate?
Yes. Household supports up to 5 people and 5 workspaces. Member roles determine who can view or change each workspace.
Can I use Sawia on my phone and computer?
Yes. Sawia runs in supported browsers. You can also install it on supported Android, iPhone, iPad and desktop devices.
